i should mention that i personally prefer the isolated on with black logo, in an ideal world i would pick the first one i worked on. but seeing it with that white border at Kat's place turned me off to it, it looks a little unprofessional to me, i like the black one over the purple one just cuz purple is not my favorite color. :)

Um....I don't like the purple. I like the black, but I feel like the black is too black... It loses the image, kind of.

If I had to choose one it would be the black text. Although, I agree the image gets a little lost in it.

They all look great! I really like the 3-D text, but I think the middle one will stand out pretty well.

if i were to choose, i'd say the black text. though i feel the black text one stands out too much, and the purple text one blends in too much. i'd go with somewhere in the middle.
though like i said, if i were picking, i'd say black text for readability.

maybe you could make the logo/title a tiny bit smaller so it doesn't completely dominate the image.

Its probably too late, but just to put my two cents. I vote the third. I still am not a fan of the floatingness.

I like the black logo, but it loses the framing device of the extruded text. How's about a subtle gray-line extrusion, with a bottom-frame to it?
If you send me the psds, I'll try it out.
